To my parents: I love you, crazy kids! You two can be so damn cute it makes me wanna gag! In all seriousness, you guys have no idea how truly grateful I am for having you guys in my life. I say that because I know that in the past we didn't have the kind of close relationship that we have now and I honestly would have never imagined in a hundred years that we would be like this. Needless to say, I wouldn't have it any other way. Although I may not always say it, I appreciate everything you've sacrificed for our family. I appreciate all the support you've showed me with all my decisions this past year. I know us kids, especially the boys, aren't always as understanding of certain situations, but please be patient with them like you were with me. In time they'll learn, they'll grow. We love you with everything that we are and we owe everything to you both. You guys can babysit my dog any day!
To my brothers: Stop growing up so fast! Also, please stop leaving your nasty socks in my room. I couldn't have asked for better liddle brothers. Yeah, I said it. I'm so proud of how you guys have grown up; so smart and talented. You may be stubborn as hell right now, but I know it's because you're going through that phase. Try not to give Ma and Pa attitude, they really do just want what's best for you, believe it or not. I don't care if you guys are taller than me, I'm still the boss. Got it? .. Oh, and don't do drugs! I'll kick your ass!
To my girls: What a year! Lord only knows the kind of shit that went down in the past year that shook our world. For a while there it almost seemed like we were living in a movie. These things weren't supposed to happen in real life, in our life. They did, but we found it in ourselves and with each other the strength to pull through. I, personally, couldn't have gone through the crap that was 2008 without you girls. You truly are my rock(s). Through the good and bad times, we'll always have each other, this past year was a true testament of that. I love my seesters from other meesters!
To my friends: Thank you for keeping me sane. Thank you for the late night conversations. Thank you for reminding me its okay to trust someone. Thank you for being my comic relief when life got me down. Thank you for kicking my ass when I needed you to. Thank you for getting me drunk, I mean tipsy. Thank you for staying at Movie City with me when you didnt have to. Thank you for buying me Chinese food and bubble tea. Thank you for reminding me that college isn't always about studying. But most of all, thank you for never letting me forget how much I'm loved and appreciated.
To Nate: Where do I even begin? Despite everything that's been thrown our way, we've managed to still come out on top. Through all the laughter, tears, joy and anger we've always had each other. How do we do it? I freakin' don't even know! Half the time there's no explanation to what it is that we have. We must really like each other :) Babe, we still have so much ahead of us, so much to work for. Although polar opposites, we share the same heart. I know we're not the perfect couple and we really don't aspire to be, but I want you to know that I love you, for who you are and how you bring out the best in me (and sometimes even the worst, but that's ok too). You never fail to amaze me and give me a new reason to love you every single day. You make me so undeniably happy I can burst at the seams. If nothing else, I can promise you that I'll always be there when the rest of the world walks out.
